I can remember taking some excruciating long test in senior year of high school that was supposed to help you on your career path in life.
One day the class councilor called me in his office, “I’m Sorry I Lost Your Test!”
It probably said “should work with plants, more specifically cannabis” anyways and here we all are…
Had a long conversation with a bud tender this week, we talked about the inner workings of this part of the cannabis machine to exhuastion…. bottom line you ask? Most these places suck to work at and are a revolving door of under trained over employed pissed off zombies. Avoid these jobs, unless its a five star environment you sense when you walk in… But all these companies urgently hiring bud tenders weekly are bad news Indeed.
I have over 10 interviews out there waiting to here back on for this letter, but when you work 60-70 hours a week it’s hard to find time for anything, so this one is late today. Onward.

Maybe the most polarizing segment of the industry. These individuals have a tremendous influence on the industry, as their celebrity status brings further awareness to the benefits of the plant, but how often do they research the company verusu take the money? They often partner with cannabis companies to create their signature brands and influence product design and marketing campaigns and then they disappear. Not all of them, for instance Breal and Method Man have ben staunch supporters of their brands.

The Garbage Human:
A business man who has no scruples and feelings in their dealings is commonly referred to as a ruthless or unscrupulous business person. They are often described as lacking in empathy or moral principles, willing to pursue their goals at any cost, even if it means sacrificing the well-being of others or breaking the law. Such individuals prioritize their personal gains over ethical considerations and do not hesitate to use any means necessary to achieve their objectives, the cannabis industry like others isn’t immune to these characters either.
The Influencer:
The highest burnout rate of any of them, social media and big smiles… if this is you enjoy your ride but you best prepare for what’s next. Social media is dying isn’t it?
The Concierge:
Cannabis concierges are your guide into the wonderful world of weed. They're there to educate you on the path of cannabis consumption. Oh ok….
They can help you with product selection, provide recommendations and so much more if you know less than a thimbles worth of cannabis knowledge and don’t own a cel phone. This one bugs the shit out of me for some reason and maybe it shouldn’t? Stick to Weedmaps imo.
Cya next time.
